Felting Workshop Series – 4, 11, 18 Feb & 3 Mar
Join textile and fibre artist Gail McCall for a series of 4 relaxing mornings learning felt-making techniques. Each workshop is limited to 6 participants and there are 3 places left.
4 Feb: Wet felting using a resist to make a shape - a mobile phone pouch
11 Feb: Crafting flowers using resists and wet felting technique
18 Feb: Nuno felting merino fleece onto a scarf
3 Mar: Needle felting to make a picture or mend/decorate one of your garments
Location: Textile Art Community Art Space, 26 Orthla Road, Heidelberg West.
Time: 10 am to 12.30 pm (We’ll start at 10 am sharp)
Includes all materials, equipment and light morning tea.
